Kingdom Of God
Break Line

The Kingdom of God is eternal, it is an everlasting kingdom where Jesus rules and reigns as King. It is established in the heart of the believer as he surrenders his all to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is the rule of God in the hearts, minds and wills of His people. Through it is a Kingdom ordained before all other kingdoms, though it will remain after all other kingdoms crumble and fall - the Kingdom of God is now at hand!

  1. What Is The Kingdom Of God?

    1. It is a condition - the rule of God in the lives of His people - (Colossians 1:13, Luke 17:32)

    2. It is an everlasting Kingdom - (Daniel 4:3, II Peter 1:11, Luke 1:33)

    3. It is superior to, and above, all other kingdoms - (Psalm 103:19)

    4. It is not of the world - (John 18:36)

    5. It is righteousness, peace and joy - (Romans 14:17)

    6. Not only in word, but in power - (I Corinthians 4:20)

  2. How Do We Receive Kingdom Citizenship?

    1. By right of creatorship - (Genesis 1:27-28) God's intention from the beginning of time was to endow mankind with authority over all creation. Man was created in the image of God and created to rule and reign with Him.

    2. By right of inheritance as believers - (Matthew 25:34)

      1. Must be born again to receive - (John 3:1-5)

      2. Not to be inherited by flesh and blood - (I Corinthians 15:50)

      3. We are to seek it above all else - (Matthew 6:33)

  3. What Is Our Commission In The Kingdom?

Matthew 28:18-20 "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; Teaching them to observe whatsoever I have commanded you: and, Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen"

  4. What Characteristics Are Manifested In Kingdom Citizens?

    1. A change in "Character" - (Matthew 5:3-4,6,8, I Peter 1:14-16, Romans 12:2)

    2. A change in "Conduct" - (Matthew 5:5,7,9, I Timothy 4:12)

    3. We become an "Influence" on the world in which we live - (Matthew 5:13-16)

The Kingdom is within the believer's heart. This is where God wants to reign, even as He does in heaven (Matthew 6:10). He also desires that we receive the benefits that are ours as Kingdom citizens: righteousness, peace and joy! (Romans 14:17)
