It is unknown where Michael, (1) was born. He married "Elizabeth Roper" who was born abt. 1675. Michael (1) passed away in 1724 in Dorchester Co., Md. He married "Mary _____" whose last name and dates are unknown. Francis (8) died in 1796 and where he was interred is currently unknown. They had five children together. 10. Rebecca was born on September 24, 1785 in Md. Her parent's names are unknown. It is unknown when Shadrack (18) passed away however Rebecca passed away on October 1, 1869 in Caroline Co., Md. and was interred in the Friendship Cem, Friendship, Caroline Co., Md. Robert (40), was born the 1st child & 1st son of Shadrack (18) & Rebecca (Reese) Dean abt. 1813 in Md. He was married twice. His 1st wife's name is currently unknown however they had 5 children together. He was married 2nd to "Mary Nichols" on July 1, 1847 in Caroline Co., Md. Shadrack Dean, (42) Shadrack, (42) was born the 1st child and 1st son of Robert (40) & _____ (_____) Dean on January 14, 1831 in Md. He married "Sarah Christopher" on Mar. 18, 1853 in Caroline Co., Md. She was born the daughter of William Christopher and Elizabeth Nichols Christopher on December 13, 1829 in Md. Sarah passed away on November 30, 1892 and was interred in the Nichols-Williamson Family Cemetery in Nichols, Md. Shadrack (42) passed away on July 20, 1914 and was interred next to his wife. Robert H. (46), was born the last child & 3rd son of Robert Dean (40) & _____ (_____) Dean on December 22, 1841. His mother's name is currently unknown. He married "Mary C. Hignutt" who was born on Mar. 4, 1841 the daughter of Robert H. & Mary (Towers) Hignutt. Mary passed away on May 20, 1909 and was interred in the Hynson Cem, Hynson, Caroline Co., Md. Mary Emily Dean, (42) Mary (60) was born the 1st child and 1st daughter of Shadrack (42) & Sarah Christopher Dean in 1854. She married "Jesse Francis Collins". Nothing further is known of this family except that they had two children. Mary (42) passed away in 1881. It is unknown where she was interred. 64.* Lona Alice Collins
John, (62) was born the only known child of Robert H. & Mary C. (Hignutt) Dean about 1868 in the Federalsburg, Md. area. He married "Katherine M. Fleming" on November 30, 1892 in Caroline Co., Md. Katherine was born in 1875 in Md. It is unknown when John (62) passed away or where he is interred. Katherine passed away in 1927 and was interred in the Hillcrest Cem, Federalsburg, Caroline Co., Md. They had four children. 66. Robert L. Dean, b. Jul. 5, 1901, d. Jul. 29, 1901 67. Alton B. Lona Alice Collins, (64) Lona (64) was born the daughter of Jesse Francis Collins & Mary Emily Dean Collins (42). She married "Joseph Frederick Culver". They had five children however only ones name is known. Nothing further is known of this family.
Maurice, (51) was born the 4th child & 3rd son of John Wesley (47) & Katherine M. (Fleming) Dean on October 22, 1907 possibly in Federalsburg. He married "Grace Carroll" on November 6, 1929 in the Union Grove Church Parsonage in Preston. Grace was born the dau of Lewis Clayton & Sally Emily (Poole) Carroll on March 3, 1908 in Preston. (See the "Carroll Family History" & "Poole Family History"). Maurice (51) worked as an Insurance Salesman, Farmer, Carpenter and at one time owned and operated a store in Denton. Grace grew up in Preston & worked with her family on their farm. She attended all of her schooling in Preston & was the only family member to graduate from High School. During her marriage she worked as a homemaker & raised her children. This marriage ended in divorce & Maurice (51) moved to Philadelphia, PA. While there it is unknown what type of work he did or exactly where is lived. Maurice (51) died on May 30, 1979 in Philadelphia, PA of a Heart Attack at the age of 71. He was interred somewhere in Philadelphia. Grace passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at the Caroline Nursing Home in Denton, Md. She was interred in the Denton Cemetery, Denton, Md.
