"Boots" worked on his own farm for many years and then worked at the Chrysler Plant in Newark, De. from where he retired. "Boots" passed away on June 14, 1980 and was interred in the Greensboro Cem., Greensboro, MD. His wife "Marie" (5) passed away in February 3, 1998 and was interred next to her husband. Raymond (6) was a farmer in the Greensboro, Md. area for most of his life. He passed away on November 15, 1992 and he was interred in the Greensboro Cemetery. Albert has worked as a police officer, truck driver and for the local school district and also is currently retired. He then was married 3rd to "Sharon Brogley" who was born the dau of Leon Louis & Claudia Evva (Ozman) Brogley on July 24, 1954 in Easton. Maurice (16) and Barbara resided in Greensboro, Md. and they had 4 children together. Barbara was a 1951 graduate of Greensboro High School. She was a secretary for the North Caroline High School guidance department for 23 years retiring in 1993. He was raised on a dairy farm near Greensboro in Caroline County with his two older brothers, Maurice and Donald Porter. He graduated from North Caroline High School in 1961 and from Goldey Beacom Business College in Wilmington, De. He then served in the Army Reserves and worked briefly for Agrico Chemical Company, covering territory in western Maryland and Pennsylvania. He was first married to "Peggy Altfather" with whom he had two children. She was born the daughter of Nevin and Dolly Altfather. Nevin was "Killed In Action" during World War II during the Battle of Kesternich. "Buck" (18) and Peggy were later divorced. Hursey (18) was married again to "Nancy Conner Porter" whose parent's names, and dates are currently unknown. "Buck" (18) moved to Salisbury, Md. and became a sales associate with Sherman & Associates Real Estate from 1967 to 1986 in Salisbury. In 1986 he moved to Trappe, Md while managing the Salisbury real estate franchise of O'Connor Piper & Flynn locally called Porter and Associates in Salisbury. In 1989, he moved to a town near Salisbury, Mardela Springs, MD. During this time the real estate company franchise changed to Prudential, under the local name "Porter and Associates" - Prudential of Salisbury. He lived there until 1997, when he moved into Salisbury, proper. The company named changed one last time to Long and Foster, where he and his wife Nancy returned to real estate sales and moved away from management. As an associate broker, he and his wife Nancy began working as a sales team for Long & Foster and became well known for their successful marketing of historic homes, farms and waterfront properties. He became a member of the Founders Club in 2003, selling over $15 million in properties. Hursey (18) and his wife were recognized as the top sales team in Salisbury's Long & Foster office in 2008. He moved his residence one last time, in 2002, to an antique log cabin in Tyaskin, MD. He served on the Maryland Association of Realtors Executive Committee from 1977 to 1980 and as president of the Maryland Association of Realtors in 1981. He became chairman of the Maryland Association of Realtors Professional Standards and Ethics Committee from 1983 through 1985 and continued to serve on the Public Standards & Ethics Committee for the Coastal Association of Realtors. Hursey (18) was also a cancer survivor. He was awarded the 2007 Spirit of Survivorship award from the Wellness Community of Delmarva, the organization he helped start years earlier. He was undergoing Chemotherapy at the time. Despite not being able to speak or even stand very well, he spoke of optimism to a packed banquet hall of nearly three-hundred cancer survivors, cancer fighters, and guests. "Buck" (18) passed away on April 6, 2008 at his home in Tyaskin with his family near. He was cremated. Nancy still resides in their Tyaskin home. 60. *Raymond Hursey "Trey" Porter, III, b. Family Notes: Caroline (59) is married to "Creston Long" and they have three children; Thomas, Anna, and Eleanor Long. They reside in Salisbury, Md. area.
She was married 1st to "Russell Stout Pickett" on November 6, 1971 in St. Luke's Methodist Church in Denton. "Russ" was born the son of John Ernest, Jr. and Emma Virginia (Stout) Pickett on October 29, 1951 in Wilmington, De. After their marriage they resided in Dover, DE. (See the "Pickett Family History" and "Stout Family History"). Diane (26) worked as a clerk with the Delaware Motor Vehicle Division & then stayed at home to raise her two sons. She also worked part time with the Delaware Technical College (Terry Campus) as a secretary. After her children were of school age Diane (26) started working full time with the Department of Public Instruction as a Secretary in Dover, De. where she is still employed. Diane (26) & Russ were divorced on May 21, 1992 & are both living in Dover, De. Both of their children were born in Kent General Hospital in Dover. Russ has two other children, Kayla Grace & Kara Virginia Pickett, that were not from this marriage. Diane (26) was then married 2nd to "Lee Sullenberger" who was born on October 2, 1958 the son of Gene Arnold & Mary (Senior) Sullenberger. Karen (27) then was married 2nd to "Bruce "Joe Ben" Morris"on February 5, 1988 in Seaford, DE. Joe Ben was born the son of Lacey David & Evelyn Estelle (Morgan) Morris on May 8, 1948 in Milford, DE. They reside in Seaford, DE. They have no children together & Joe Ben has children from a previous marriage. Karen (27) is employed as a secretary & Joe Ben works in automotive maintenance.
Ricky (41) is employed in banking and Diane is a homemaker. They reside in rural Greensboro and have two children together who were both born in Easton. 79. Joseph Richard Harris, III, b. May 24, 1989

Chris (75) attended Fairview Elementary (1st - 3rd), Towne Point Elementary (4th), William Henry Middle School (5th - 6th), Central Middle School (7th - 8th) & graduated from Dover High School in 1994. He is currently attending evening classes at Delaware State University. Chris (75) currently resides in rural Dover, De.

While teaching at Woodbridge Ryan (76) met and became engaged to Tara Buemi. On July 15, 2006 they were married at the St. Michael the Archangel Church in Georgetown, Delaware. Tara was born the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Buemi and is currently a teacher at Woodbridge High School. She is a 1998 graduate of Sussex Central High School in Georgetown and a 2002 graduate of the University of Delaware. Ryan (134) & Tara reside in rural Milford, Delaware.
