I have created or found "online memorials" for these honored men and women using "Find A Grave".  You will see a blue " Yes " behind their names and by clicking on the " Yes " you will see the online memorial created for them.   On "many" of the online memorials you will see a small biography for each soldier which includes: parent's names, when and where they enlisted, where they lived, and where and how they actually died.  If you see one without a bio and you have information on them please email me and I'll update their records.

     If anyone has any information or photos of these 1,300 men or women please let me know by sending me an email at "russpickde@comcast.net" or by "clicking here" so that I can make a more detailed online memorial for them or add more information about them on their memorial.   This is just a small way of making sure these New York soldiers and sailors that gave their all ARE REMEMBERED!!
